What does a grease trap service cost?

Trap size, access and how long it has been since the last proper clean. A standard trap out the back on a regular cycle is the cheap end. A neglected trap that has to be dug out by hand takes longer and costs more.

Getting on a schedule is almost always cheaper per service than calling when it overflows, and it keeps your trade waste record clean at the same time. Ask us what interval your trap actually needs.

How often does a grease trap need cleaning?

It depends on trap size versus how much you are putting through it. A busy kitchen on an undersized trap can need it monthly. A quieter site on a large trap might stretch to quarterly. Your trade waste agreement usually sets a minimum, and we can tell you what your trap actually needs once we have seen it.

Will you interrupt service?

No. Most of our grease trap work is done before open or after close. Tell us your trading hours when you book and we will fit around them.

Do I get paperwork for council?

Yes, every visit. The waste goes to a licensed facility and you get the disposal docket for your trade waste records, an audit or your water authority.

What does a full service actually include?

We pump the full contents, scrape the walls, baffles and lid, clear the dry basket or screens, wash the trap down and check it is sitting right before we put the lid back. Then you get the docket.

My drain is already blocked. Can you clear it?

Yes. We run high pressure water jetting, so we can clear the grease line as well as empty the trap. Worth doing both in the one visit rather than emptying the trap and finding the line is still choked.

Can you service multiple sites on one account?

Yes. If you run several venues we can put them all on one schedule and one account, which usually works out better per service and keeps the paperwork in one place.

Do you clean oil and silt interceptors too?

Yes. Workshop, wash bay and carpark separators are the same kind of job for us, and they need the same disposal documentation.

How fast can you come out if it is overflowing?

We run response around the clock. Call the number and you will get a person who can tell you when a truck can be there rather than a message bank.
